As quality is so important in ensuring the success of a garden project, plants are sourced from the best nurseries and growers in their fields, whether trees, shrubs, perennials or herbs, to ensure you get the right plants to complete the look.
All plants are grown to exacting horticultural standards, and are guaranteed true to type, pest and disease free and acclimatised to our British weather at the point of arrival to site.
Wherever possible, plants are supplied from nurseries based within the UK, supporting the home-grown initiative and keeping transport distances from nursery to site to a minimum.
LARGE, UNUSUAL OR SPECIALIST?
It may be that your design requires plants to provide a wow factor or need to fulfill a difficult situation such as vertical planting or green roofs.
If so, we are able to source large and unusual items such as topiary, specimen trees, pleached or trained trees and shrubs or plants grown in specialist systems to overcome most challenges.
PLANTS AND PLANTING SERVICE
It may be you have had your garden designed, and the hard landscaping installed and are just awaiting the plants.
If so, plant sourcing for clients who have had their garden designed by a third party, either as supply only delivered to your site, or inclusive of planting to your plan, can be arranged.
As with the planting, the choice of materials is essential to ensure the look envisaged in the design is translated into reality,
As such, materials chosen are sourced from suppliers renowned for quality and service, and that are produced/sourced in a sustainable manner.
Where possible, materials are sourced locally and through local craftspeople. Timber utilised is either locally-grown and harvested, or from approved FSC sources.
All planting installations are undertaken directly by Your Garden Design and are guaranteed for a period of six months from the point of planting. (subject to basic maintenance/watering regime being followed).
Groundworks and hardscape are installed by specialist contractors, or the clients' own preferred builder/contractor,
Working together with other local, talented tradespeople is essential to ensure the plan is realised in a professional, and organised manner, Our key partners in producing our gardens include the following:-
