DAVID LOY (PRINCIPAL)- BSc. (Hons) Horticulture, RHS Certificate Horticulture
David has a genuine and long term addiction to all things horticultural which commenced from an early age. With over 20 years of experience in horticulture as both a nurseryman and garden designer, David has a wealth of expertise and contacts to bring to the table when catering to the discerning customer from the private homeowner to corporate projects.
For David working with plants and gardens is more than a job, it is a pleasure and the rewards of shaping a project from concept to completion, working with an infinite palette of texture, colour and form are endless.
Plants are his passion and therefore the selection and quality of plants, which will provide long-lasting year-round interest, providing benefits to both client and the local environment, are central to each project undertaken.
SARAH LOY (ACCOUNTS AND ADMINISTRATION)
Sarah has many years of experience working in the property market. She is therefore ideally placed to manage the office and accountancy side of the business ensuring the studio is organised and efficient.
Sarah has an exceptional eye for detail, which is essential when it comes to getting the perfect finish on every project.
As well as being office-based, Sarah is a regular on site undertaking tasks such as planting and maintenance and is rapidly developing her knowledge of plants and planting combinations.
MARK SLADE (HARD LANDSCAPE)
Mark has many years of experience working with a wide range of materials and across a wide range of projects.
Having recently joined us this autumn, Mark is now becoming involved in each of our projects as a hardscape specialist bringing an eye for detail and passion for his subject, ensuring each build attains the standard required.
KRISTAPS MELDERIS (GARDEN BUILD / LANDSCAPE)
Kris has a background in Landscaping, as well as working for a period at Rolls Royce Motor Cars as a leather fitter, a role requiring exceptional standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Kris brings enthusiasm and a can do attitude to each project acquiring the skills and experience to take on the challenges of working with new and innovative materials as each garden is created.
MAX WOODAGE (HORTICULTURAL AFTERCARE)
Max has worked with us for three years, firstly as a trainee gardener working on the build and maintenance of some of our projects whilst undertaking his NVQ qualification level 3, and now as an associate contractor.
Max's business, MHW Garden Services, undertakes the regular maintenance and aftercare of our projects including specialist areas such as topiary and pleached trees.
Max has excellent knowledge of turf care, garden husbandry. and associated machinery and his attention to detail and strong work ethic make him a valuable member of our team.
